So the question at hand is can cats eat watermelon? Majority of the cats are considered picky eaters. However, a lot of cats do enjoy watermelon.

If your cat had diabetic symptoms, then you should never try to feed it watermelon because along with water they are also very rich in sugar. Since they are carnivorous, they may not need the vitamins and mineral from fruit base.If your cat really likes watermelon you can feed it to him once in a while.
